Destiny Trip Saju
PLAYUS Destiny Trip
Draw the eight characters of your birth (Saju, the Four Pillars of Destiny) as cards and collect a daily fortune card. The chart comes from an almanac engine using astronomically computed solar terms and true solar time; the readings are written to be light and fun.

How it works
Enter your birth details
Add your birth date (solar or lunar, leap months included), birth time and birthplace city. If you do not know the time, choose "unknown" and get three pillars (six characters). Gender is optional and only sets the direction of the 10-year luck cycles.
Reveal your eight characters
The eight characters of your year, month, day and hour pillars flip over one card at a time. A five-element radar shows your balance at a glance.
Draw today's card
Draw the card of the day's pillar every day. Its rarity is not random: it comes from how that day's pillar relates to your chart. Fill a 60-card album of the sexagenary days and build a streak.
Compatibility and sharing
Check compatibility with a friend when you both agree. Share a result card by link — your birth data is never on it.
A real almanac engine
The readings are for fun, but the eight characters are calculated carefully. Our server-side engine uses:
- A Korean almanac (manseryeok) covering 1900–2100, with solar and lunar dates (including leap months).
- The 24 solar terms, computed astronomically. The year changes at Ipchun (Start of Spring) and each month at its solar term.
- True solar time, corrected by the longitude of your birthplace.
- Korea's historical time zones (UTC+8:30 in 1908–1911 and 1954–1961) and summer time years (1948–1951, 1955–1960, 1987–1988).
- Five-element balance, the ten gods, the 12 life stages, day-master strength and useful element (heuristic), combinations and clashes, symbolic stars, and 10-year and yearly luck cycles.
Play it like a game
Not a one-time reading — a small trip you open every day.
- An animated reveal of your eight characters as cards, plus a five-element radar
- A daily fortune card whose rarity comes from how the day's pillar relates to your chart (not random)
- A 60-card album of sexagenary days, and streaks
- A daily mini-quest: play one round of the day's lucky game
- Friend compatibility — both of you must agree, and your birth data is never shown to friends
- A shareable result card — birth data excluded; your pillars appear only if you choose to show them
AI readings only if you want them
The default readings are rules-based text matched to your chart, so every feature works without AI.
If you like, you can turn on AI readings written by Claude by Anthropic. Because your data is transferred overseas (to the US), it is used only with your separate consent, and AI-written text is labeled "AI-generated".
Face and palm photo readings are offered only where the feature is enabled, for people aged 14 or older using their own photo. Photos are never stored.
Your birth data stays yours
Your birth date, time and birthplace are stored encrypted, and you can delete them yourself at any time. They are removed when you delete your account.
Friend compatibility and share cards never include your birth date, time or birthplace.
FAQ
Can I use it without knowing my birth time?
Yes. Choose "unknown" and the chart uses three pillars — year, month and day (six characters). A few items that depend on the hour pillar may be left out.
Does it support lunar birthdays and leap months?
Yes. Between 1900 and 2100 you can enter solar or lunar dates, including leap months. Lunar dates are converted to solar dates with the almanac.
Why do you ask for my birthplace?
The sun's actual position (true solar time) depends on longitude, so the hour pillar is corrected with your birthplace city. Korea's historical time zones and summer time years are applied as well.
Is today's card rarity random?
No. Rarity comes from how the day's pillar relates to your chart (harmonies, clashes and so on). The same chart on the same day always gets the same result.
Do I have to use AI readings?
No. The default readings are rules-based, so everything works without AI. AI readings (Claude) are used only if you consent to the overseas transfer, and they are labeled "AI-generated".
How is my birth data handled?
It is stored encrypted and you can delete it anytime. It is removed when you delete your account. Compatibility results and share cards never include your birth data.
